RI celebrates St. Patrick's Day with events (Boston Globe)

Rhode Island is celebrating St. Patrick's Day with parades and other events. On Saturday, Newport will hold its 54th Annual Saint Patrick's Day Parade. It starts at 11 a.m. at City Hall and ends at St. Augustin's Church. Parade organizers say it will feature eight pipe bands, nine marching bands, three fife and drum corps and other entertainment....
